That's it. All the sports are done for the year. Phew...It's kept us busy for sure. Practices or games every day. Abbie had fun in each sport she participated in. She is excited about next year playing for High School. I have no idea how I am about to have a child in High School. Don't ask! Shawnie is excited he'll be able to try out for sports next year!
End of the year activities have begun. The 2 little ones had their Spring Festival last night. They had lots of games, bounce houses, a bake sale and an art display. It was a good time for them and a decent fundraiser for the school.
Next weekend we have Abbie's 8th grade Field Trip- Grad Night at Busch Gardens. Yes, I am chaperoning! Then 2 weeks later we have the 8th grade dance. I am helping put this together, and hoping it will be a success. We'll see. There isn't much time left and I just found out about it this week. Busy as usual!

uninvited visitors...YIKES!!!
Today was such a beautiful day. I go upstairs to open the windows in the bedrooms and let some fresh air in. While in Blake's room, I get the window up and look what I see in the lake behind our house...Oh Dear Lord...that's about all I can say!

Thanks Easta Buh-nny!
Well, another holiday in the books.
The Easter Bunny stopped by last night and dropped off baskets of goodies for all 4 kids. We went over to Mam and Grampa Brant's in the afternoon. The Bunny had made a stop there and hid a TON of eggs in the yard.
Gracie found the Golden Egg this year!
It had 5 bucks in it!!!
L-U-C-K-Y!

L-U-C-K-Y!
The kiddos had a blast searching for them.
And they weren't the only ones...Daddy had fun, too!
Emma even joined in!
After the hunt we had a great dinner...ham, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, fruit salad and rolls....and butter (EEEKKKKK!!!)
Then it was a small celebration for Blake's birthday for those that won't see him tomorrow.
The weather was beautiful, the food was yummy and I was surrounded by the people I love most.
It was a great day!

really slacking.
Ruh Roh! It's been a week since I've been on here. A busy week too. Surely that should count for something.
Did some yard work last weekend. On Saturday night I met up in Orlando with some amazing gals from the surrogacy community. We had dinner at Margaritaville in City Walk then some coffee over at Starbucks. Tanya (GS), Sunny (IM), and Bethany (GS) came from Jacksonville and Sandrine (GS) lives in Orlando. We had a good time and I look forward to our next GTG. Monday and Thursday I had monitoring appointments for my upcoming transfer. We are getting really close! Dexter has been sick with some gastro issues. Took him into the vet and he is doing better now. Labs came back showing an infection in the pancreas. We think it was from eating the grease from the drip pan behind Mark's smoker...UGH my tummy hurts thinking about it! Without getting into details, he's been cooped up in the kitchen and bathroom areas. Poor guy. He is feeling better and we have been able to reintroduce his regular food. Abbie has had 2 more track meets. She is building confidence & skills and having some fun all at the same time.
Spring Break is officially underway today...we're going to head out and meet Auntie Janie and Emma for lunch, do a little shopping and maybe pick up Mam from the hhhair-port.
Here's a group shot from Margarittaville...
